The Red Face of Donald Trump

So as more information comes to light about the illegal activities of the current occupant of the White House, we are seeing the orange man turn beet red.

The collusion and corruption investigation is strong and pushing forward against him and his minions. There is now a new book out that describes the complete circus in the White House. And today, a truly mind blowing Op Ed in the NY Times dressing down Trump and his leadership.

This piece shows exactly how desperate people inside the White House are to try and hold together the institutions that guide this nation. Trump as a whole is a man who had zero political experience and zero foreign policy experience, but you people in America thought that was perfect for our country.

I watched his hastily given conference to shred the article and the book to be released by Bob Woodward. He tried to again lie his way thru his accomplishments, in order to get the uninformed masses, to believe the shit being reported is false and only Trump is speaking truth. Sadly, there are large numbers in this country believes this shit. Are you people awake right now?

We are really sitting on the cusp of history. The sitting President just said that all news is fake that reports negativity about him, that by the way, is true. There is a Senior Admin official who came out and blasted their boss. Described a President who is not mentally fit or emotionally fit to be the President of the United States. I’ve heard numerous times nd I believe it to be true, the reason he is the President is because Republicans believe that Trump will get all their agenda thru.

Look at what’s going on. Taking away abortion rights, attacking and gutting the Affordable Care Act, giving unnecessary tax cuts to rich people, putting conservative judges on the bench who will be potentially destructive to the Black and Latin communities, not to mention you under educated White folks, his policies ain’t done shit for you either.

We’ve heard this man say he could sexually assault women and get away with it because he a rich, White man. Hmm and y’all still support him. This is a man who said that White Supremicist are good people. He said that Pres Putin was a good man, that Leader Kim is a strong leader. What the fuck are you waiting to see?

We have a President who thinks that the Nike campaign promoting Colin Kapernick and his protest right is terrible. He also said that the people protesting the anthem to bring about change in this nation should be fired. Cursing them and wanting them to lose their job. America is built on the backs of protesters and resisters. It is built on the backs of people who refuse to lie down and wilt in the face of tyrannical and bitch ass people trying to suppress our rights.

Trump thought he would be literally the most powerful man in the world when he became President. He has realized now up close, that while he has significant stroke and influence, he does not have autonomy. He is not free and clear to do anything he wants. And that’s killing him, don’t think so. Look at his Tweet storms and his rampages. Look at how red and ugly he gets when more stories come out about him, his mental fitness and ability to lead.

This is definitely a remarkable time in American history and it certainly is one that many saw coming and some didn’t mind. They wanted change, they didn’t want to back track to the Clintons, and some wanted to blow the whole fucking system up. Well enter Donald Trump. He used face and fear and prejudice, and won. Now we look like complete fools as a nation because he is the representation many foreign nations see on their tv screens.

Hey Trumpians, still proud of your President. By the way those auto plants that went over seas, how’s that helped u guys.

The Darkness Within

One of the biggest lessons behind the latest push for mental health awareness is that just because someone smiles nd looks like they have it all under control doesn’t mean there isn’t a time bomb ticking beneath the surface. It’s one of the most under appreciated illnesses in the world, much less the United States.

Someone who has depression issues or anxiety issues or struggles with bipolar disorder isn’t always taken as seriously as the illnesses nd disorders we can see. That’s the danger in all of this. If u don’t take the time to check on those u care about nd pay attention to things u see that may be out of the ordinary for that person u may be losing a friend nd never know it.

No one person has all the same reactions nd behaviors. The struggle with these issues are well documented nd they have only been magnified with the high profile suicides lately who were struggling with some of these issues. The difficulty is that these issues are deeply personal nd getting someone to open up who’s struggling is hard because there is a feeling of helplessness nd worthlessness.

The challenge is getting the person to accept that they have an issue that needs to be addressed. That’s something that takes support, love but also someone who has or is going thru it that can get on ur level nd let u know it’s ok to admit u need help nd that ur not mentally well.

There is a darkness that comes over anyone who struggled or struggles with these issues nd u can’t just assume u can handle it on ur own. Seek help, find positive outlets nd influences, learn to love urself nd day by day u can lift the darkness within.

The LeBron Overkill

It is no secret that I’m not a LeBron apologist. I don’t worship him or his basketball game. I don’t think he’s the greatest to play the game nor do I believe he makes everyone around him better. I believe that he is a great talent. I think he has a drive to win that is as high as any in the game. I think he’s a generational player. And that’s all.

Part of the reason LeBron has this power nd influence over the three franchises he has played for in his NBA career is because the media has largely contributed to creating the monster that is LeBron. Yes I called him a monster and let’s dig into few reasons why I say this.

First in his first run in Cleveland, definitely his second nd now his stop in LA, LeBron is the de facto General Manager of these teams. I heard Ryan Hollins debating on ESPN’s First Take that LeBron couldn’t be the de facto GM because he didn’t sign the checks. Hey Ryan, of 3.7 points per game average in ur career that was a bust to say the least, where u been living man.

Every one knows that every move made during LeBron’ s Cleveland days were at his direction. He didn’t have to sign the damn checks to be the man telling his team what to do. Ryan also stated in his defense that Cleveland had to sign the players they did cuz of the cap. Here is point two, LeBron was always LeBron first. He took so much money that his team had to use the lower rung players to support MeBron.

Then he goes to LA nd they’re constructing a roster that looks very inept. And u have Laker Legend Magic saying he will consult LeBron on all moves. That’s stupid. Idgaf if he is LeBron. He won’t win the West in these four years if he doesn’t have at least one more superstar on that team.

By the way, in the wake of LeBron bolting again, how does Cleveland look? Kyrie gone, the good young core u had.. gone, Isaiah Thomas who would’ve been good to build around.. gone. They’re left with a good number of players the league doesn’t really want nd in salary cap purgatory.

Oh and for the record offensively they will be miles better than the LeBron days cuz now they gotta have an offensive identity besides LeBron plus four.

Good luck LA. U will be relevant, u will be a quasi contender nd ur franchise value will surely elevate. But I’m going to tell u the biggest benefactor of LeBron being in the West is the whole Eastern Conference. Now they can focus on constructing themselves to compete against the best in the West not a LeBron led squad that will get every advantage cuz he’s on their team.

This season will be interesting

The Trader In Chief

I’m sure many if u have seen the coverage of the President after his “summit” with Russian President Putin. I’m sure if ur an American u were dumbfounded to learn that he behaved as if he was Putin’s bitch nd not the President of the most powerful nation in the free world.

I’m also certain that some of u have heard that he made a series of unimaginable statements nd capitulations to the Russians. We are here 4 days removed from this summit wondering if this idiot hasn’t dropped a dime on America just for the sake of his own personal interests.

I don’t think a rational, sane person can look at this situation with Russia nd not think that this asshole is in bed with Russia. Why the hell would u be trying to bring Putin back into the G7 countries? Why would u meet in private with no aides or cabinet people for nearly three hours nd not explain what u agreed to or said? Why are inviting this murderer nd enemy to the White House for another summit? The Right Wing nd Fox News will have u believe that over the last few days Trump has grown brass balls nd is prepared to stand up to Pres Putin, I say bull shit.

The truth of the matter is I believe the narrative all along. Russia has Pres Trump by the balls nd if he doesn’t do their bidding to attempt to get them access to the money he owes them nd put their influence back on a world level then Trump is fucked.

All these people who love him cuz he’s a White man who claims to believe in America first nd all these policies that increase rich people’s pockets, how do u feel about him selling y’all asses to the Russians. Cuz if this shit continues that’s what we will be seen as under Trump. The Russians bitches.

Almost Isn’t Enough

I heard this song one day while I was completing my Saturday morning activities nd got me thinking. Why is it that when things fail we put time nd effort to, we seem to have extra emotional distress?

The answer can be found in the title of this blog. See I get it, sometimes it’s said in life that if you come close to the best outcome but fall just short we should celebrate that result. Because many have attempted nd failed yo even reach that level.

I’m going to say maybe that works in ur professional life or on sum personal project ur working on. But when it comes to matters of the heart nd downfall of a relationship that concept doesn’t apply. When you get close to the ultimate goal u envision for urself nd fall short it’s actually devastating.

How many times have u truly thought u had that one only to have things unravel? Now of those times how many times did u just accept it nd say at least u tried? Now how many times did u have some distress nd pain because u thought this was it?

I completely understand the pain nd heartache that comes wit loving nd thinking that u have found the one that will share ur future for the 40 or 50 years or so, only to be devastated because close ain’t enough. The feelings u have are hard to comprehend or release. People will tell u they understand but u must move forward.

While u kno that’s the truth u sometimes just want to wallow in ur own feelings because u realize that u don’t know how many chances at love u will get. U know that the starting over process is time consuming nd sometimes faulty. All these things makes one realize that often times we resign ourselves to accept that we tried. But we still remember nd agonize over the fact that Almost Isn’t Enough.

A tribute to Dad’s

As I sat this today trying to determine how to pin this I realized that simple nd factual will be the orders of the day. I looked up the definition of a father. And at its core it too is simple nd basic. A father means a male who created a child. I then looked up dad and that word means a father who is active present nd raises his child or children.

Today we celebrate Fathers Day. At its most basic principle we celebrate men who created children. But in reality what we are really celebrating are Dad’s. Today is really Happy Dad’s Day. And if you are fortunate enough to have that kinda figure in your life then you pay some type of tribute to him.

A dad is what many of us seek nd hope we have in the man who helped to create us. We look for that man yo guide nd lead us, mold us into young men nd then into being a grown man. We look to him to protect us and be firm yet loving during our growth in life. He is the man some want to be like.

The truth is many in the Black community nd specifically the Gay community don’t have biological dad’s. We have biological father’s nd then dad figures along the way. Be it a grandfather or a gay father or a mentor or coach or brother or cousin. Someone who treated us like a son irrespective to what sex we chose to lay with in life.

The sad truth is that for many in the community today is not necessarily a fond day like Mothers day. It’s a time where we usually have those lingering questions pop in nd out of our brains. It’s where we recommit to being a better dad than ours, if we have children, nd it’s a time where we reflect nd give thanks to whatever figure we have to call dad in our lives.

For anyone who has a real dad that they call father today honor them. Love on them, tell them you appreciate them. Make them know that they are as loved as they love u nd u are as grateful for them as they are for having the chance to raise u.

For one thing is certain the legacy of your dad, father, lives they whomever they imparted their life of devotion to. Because you become their image.

God bless every man that’s a father who is a dad. Happy Dad’s Day to you all.

The LeBrons Are Done

Lemme be very clear. This is my opinion nd all the LeBron dick suckers can keep the comments. Lets face facts this series was alwaya going to be the corination for the champs of the West. It was never really a question once the Warriors won the West.

That team is the absolute best in the league and the LeBrons wont good enough. I understand people will say they always had a chance. I will tell u thats bull shit. LeBron aint good enough to beat an entire team that plays as a team. He needs help nd they didnt have it.

Lets stop the MJ comparisons there please. Mike made all his teammates better. He didnt have to dominate all the time because he trusted his guys nd they fed off his leadership nd confidence. Cleveland clearly not the case. Also LBJ bitches like he a 6 ft PG not 6’8 nd a monster as he’s billed as his whole career.

Im sorry Im sick of the LeBron talk. I’ve watched enough to kno he’s a great player but man Im sorry I watch nd don’t see the shit some people do. He’s a bigger Allen Iverson quite honestly. The Ethos is Your Friend.. If u let it be

So many times people think that the world is against them because they’re going through some struggles. Because times are hard. When the reality is that the Ethos is designed to work in your favor but you can tilt nd alter that with your words, actions nd energy. When someone puts something negative in the air about its up to u whether or not u give it the energy to breathe. When you allow negativity to get energy then your path can change.

As I have said and will continue to say you will not be able to fully understand yourself nor the plan that is destined for you if you don’t allow urself to connect to the Earth nd let it guide u. Contrary to pessimistic belief you definitely are designed to have the Ethos in your favor.

If you take time to learn about yourself you learn that you are a compilation of the energy in the world. Affected differently by the arrangements of the stars, moons, and planets. We as a people need to learn more about ourselves. You get to have more knowledge nd love for urself. One is never perfect.

I truly think that at some point in time completion is achieved with a connection through the Earth. Think about nd tell me bout it

Roses Smell Like Boowoowoowoo

Thank u Outkast for the opening for this blog. Lol, this title to me is very important to delve into. So many people are out here living like they the best thing since electricity. They get so caught up n looking pretty or handsome nd forget that part of sex appeal is how u act.

Aint nothing worse than meeting someone who looks good but they personality be shit nd they have the nerve to act like they shit dont stank. Being attractive don’t give u a pass to be a bitch, dick, or asshole. Yes it usually mean you have more attention nd followers. People spend more time starring nd gawking at you. But does that mean you give people your ass to kiss? Does that mean u have to carry urself as though ur beyond reproach?

Even if u not cute nd u full of confidemce, thats beautiful that u are self confident nd loving of urself but that dont mean u gotta be extra nd aggy with your self praise. Roses have thorns nd they still smell like shit at the end of the day lol. Beautiful to look at but all that great to the smell.

I think we all could use a lil humility drink just to remind us all that there is a balance to life. Be confident in u. Feel great u nd ur accomplishments. Take time to appreciate urself. Just dont be a bitch about it.

An Ignorant Nation

Im watching the latest form of censorship applied by the NFL in regards to the players protesting the social injustices in the country. Apparently the dumb ass general public who cant see that the kneeling the players did during the anthem didn’t have a damn thing to do with disrespecting the flag or the anthem itself. It’s to show outrage over the social inequities among people of color nd the white class in this country.

Damn it people when will you bleeding heart Americans realize everything aint about the fucking flag and anthem. Though I will add if we did protest that, we wouldn’t be wrong. Under this flag we were enslaved nd called ubequal. Un this anthem we were not free until the abolishment of slavery. But the protest is nd still focuses on police brutality, racial inequality, gender inequality, income inequality nd all those issues that sre split along lines of race.

The owners all decided that they needed a uniform method of honoring the flag. I can imagine some players will stay in the locker room but how long will they do it. How will teammates look at those who chose to stay behind to make a point. If you want my answer to all this: it means the NFL is mirroring the NBA. Take away the players right to protest on their biggest platform.

Maybe one day we will stop with the ignorant assertion that every protest opposite the playing of the anthem is a protest to the anthem. One day we will wake up as a nation nd realize the cause being championed is well damn with. Wake up people.
